Doug Kolasinski joined ACM in January 2009. As Chief Financial Officer, he is responsible for financial management, office administration, human resources, and technology for the association.  Doug participates with the President and Vice President as an active member of ACM’s management team, providing strategic direction to all ACM programs and activities, along with recommendations regarding opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Prior to joining ACM, Doug was the Director of Finance at Thresholds, Illinois’ leading psychiatric rehabilitation center. During his 18 year career at Thresholds, Doug was a member of the senior management team and active on several organizational and state wide committees. Doug was the chair of the Governor’s task force on System Restructuring Initiative, Finance Workgroup that tackled mental health financing reform in Illinois. He has also been a member  of the Illinois CPA society’s nonprofit committee. Doug is an active member of the nonprofit community in Chicago, volunteering his time and energy to a variety of nonprofit organizations.

Doug is a CPA and earned his BA in accounting, economics, and business administration from Coe College. A native of Chicago, Doug is an lifelong Cubs fan and enjoys the outdoors and travel with his wife, Renee.
