How to apply

Application Deadlines Extended

  • For Fall 2008, applications for the Chicago Programs are being accepted on a continuing basis until the programs are filled.
  • For Spring 2009 Chicago Programs, the application deadline has been extended to October 15, 2008.
  • Pick up an application for any of the ACM Chicago Programs from the appropriate campus program advisor or download an application for Fall 2008 or Spring 2009 (PDF format; requires the free Acrobat Reader).
  • Check with your campus program advisor for the application requirements and deadlines on your campus. The program advisor can also answer questions about the program and perhaps put you in touch with past participants.
  • Before applying, consult with your academic advisor and the off-campus studies office or program advisor about the amount and distribution of credit for the program, and stop by the financial aid office to find out about remaining eligible for financial aid.

  • Return the completed application to your program advisor by your campus’ deadline. ACM must receive completed applications (having gone through all on-campus procedures) by the following deadlines:
    • Fall 2008: Applications for the Chicago programs are being accepted on a continuing basis until the programs are filled.
    • Spring 2009: October 15, 2008.
  • If you’re accepted, pay a non-refundable $400 deposit to the ACM office. The deposit is applied to your program fee.
