Program details

Program dates

Fall 2008 (All programs):

September 1 - December 10, 2008

Spring 2009 (All programs):

February 1 - May 13, 2009

Prerequisites

Students must be sophomores, juniors or seniors in good standing to participate in the ACM Chicago Programs.

Credit distribution

All students should consult with their academic advisor before applying to the ACM Chicago Programs. Most students receive 16 semester hours, or the equivalent, distributed variously as general education, independent, or department work. ACM and Chicago Programs faculty and staff will be happy to work with students and advisors to arrange specialized credit, but these provisions should be made before students enter the program.

Costs

Cost information for each program for fall 2008 and spring 2009:

Financial aid

Consult with the financial aid officer on your campus about remaining eligible for aid.

Housing

Housing costs are included in the program fee and are based on double occupancy in furnished apartments with cooking facilities; students with special housing needs must contact the ACM office early in the application process.

Urban Studies students participate in the Precept living experience, with apartments located in various Chicago neighborhoods.

All students are responsible for food, telephone, textbooks, entertainment and personal items.
