A
key component of each program is the internship -- supervised work
experience with a Chicago business, non-profit organization, or
arts group.
Students
work 12-15 hours per week at the internship site. Group discussions
in the ACM Chicago programs allow students to reflect on their work
experiences and to connect them to their academic work. Direct supervision
in the field and contact with a faculty advisor insure academic
quality.
Both
Urban Studies and Chicago Arts have placed students in over 350
sites in a wide range of fields. Chances are, no matter what your
interests, you can find a Chicago internship that helps you develop
your skills, refine your interests, and prepare you for the world
beyond college.
