Visiting Scholars Program

The Visiting Scholars Program provided grant funds for faculty to visit ACM colleagues or to invite ACM guests to campus for a number of different academic purposes. In addition, there was the opportunity to visit a campus as part of the Mentoring/Job Shadowing Program.

The larger goal of this FaCE Project activity was to create networks and connections among faculty members at ACM colleges.

Grant funds provided travel (transportation, food, and lodging) expenses for these visits. The funds for this program were not designed to cover honoraria, laboratory expenses, technology expenditures, and other instructional expenses, but these travel and board funds could be supplemented by funds from other sources.

Recipients of funds were asked to provide a brief report and evaluation of the funded opportunity to be sent to the ACM office.
