Visiting faculty positions available on ACM off-campus study programs

Faculty at ACM colleges may apply for positions as program directors and visiting faculty on ACM off-campus study programs. Positions on programs recognized by the Great Lakes Colleges Association, Inc. (GLCA) are also open to faculty at GLCA member colleges.

Announcements for available positions are listed below. Except as noted, all programs are administered by ACM.

Positions on ACM programs in:

  • Africa:
  • Asia:
    • India: India Studies Program -- Summer 2010 in Pune for the director (the program continues through fall semester 2010). This announcement will be posted in summer 2008
    • India: Field Director for the ACM India Studies Program (this is a full-time, year-round position in Pune, India)
    • Japan: Japan Study Academic year 2009-10 in Tokyo. This program is administered by Earlham College and recognized by GLCA and ACM.
  • Europe:
    • Italy: Florence and London/Florence Programs -- Academic year 2010-2011 in Florence. This announcement will be posted in summer 2008
    • England: London/Florence Program -- Spring semester 2011 in London. This announcement will be posted in summer 2008
  • U.S.:
    • Chicago: Newberry Seminar in the Humanities two positions: fall semester 2010 (with possible research time in spring 2011). This program is recognized by GLCA. This announcement will be posted in summer 2008.
    • Oak Ridge, TN: Oak Ridge Science Semester -- Fall semester 2009. This program is managed by Denison University and recognized by GLCA and ACM. This announcement will be posted in summer 2008.
