Limitations and Possibilities: Cultural Awareness in India and Iowa

My presentation will deal with the limitations of entering a foreign culture whether that is in India or in a small town in Iowa. I will talk how these same limitations also opened up new possibilities for me that I had not before considered. My experience in India allowed me to better adapt to new environments.

While a small town bar in Iowa may not seem exotic, my experience there very much parallels my experience in a foreign country. I will discuss how learning about other people takes very much the same skills no matter where in the world you are.
