Host Families: Life Just Wouldn't Be the Same without Them
My home stay with my Italian host family made my off-campus study experience. Orsola and Raffaele were the best host family you could ask for. Dinner was always an amazing experience both because of the food Orsola made and because of the fun we had. There was never a dull moment in our apartment and laughter filled the air.

At San Miniato, overlooking Florence.
My host family made it possible for me to fully embrace this experience. I changed so much during the three-and-a-half months I lived with them, and they always accepted me for who I was. I still keep in contact with them, and I am waiting for the day I can go back to visit them. I honestly can't imagine my life without them now. They are, indeed, my "Italian family."
