Pisa's Cathedral

ACM Florence, Fall 2009
Though Pisa is best known for its Leaning Tower, there's plenty more of interest to be found in the heart of this Italian city. The walled area known as the Piazza dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles) is dominated by the Duomo, a medieval cathedral dating back to the 11th century. This photograph of the cathedral was taken during a field trip to Pisa, one of several trips taken by ACM students spending the semester studying in Florence.
