Course sequence

Students have a choice of two course sequences.

Florence first: Students who choose to start in Florence begin with a three-week program of intensive Italian instruction, January 4-23, 2009. They then participate in the standard language and other courses in Florence, starting January 26, before going to London at the end of March. This option provides an additional recommended three credits for the language program, and costs additional tuition, approximately one-ninth of the home college's annual tuition.

London first: Students who choose to start in London arrive on January 25, and then move to Florence at the end of March. They will have the standard Italian language class, but not the intensive class. They will receive the standard recommended 16 credit hours and pay the standard half-year tuition.
