Tuition
For students from ACM colleges, tuition for spring 2009 will equal
approximately one-half of the home college’s 2008-09 annual tuition,
and is paid directly to the home college. The extra cost
of the January language option
in 2009 is approximately one-ninth of the home college’s 2008-09
annual tuition.
Tuition
refunds are made in accordance with the policy in effect on the
home campus in relation to the program calendar.
In
most cases, students from ACM colleges remain eligible for their
college’s financial aid program and should consult their aid officers
well in advance.

Program
fee
The
program fee in 2008 is $3,000, and is subject to change in 2009.
The program fee covers housing in both cities, some meals (breakfast
and dinner in Florence), and local transportation costs in London.
It also covers tickets to all plays and entrance fees to all museums
and monuments visited in class and on field trips. No additional
program fee will be charged for the January
language option.
No
part of the program fee expended on the student’s behalf is refunded
if the student withdraws from the program. Students from non-ACM
colleges will also be charged a $125 administrative fee.

Other
expenses
Students
are responsible for their own travel to and from Europe. Students
are also responsible for the meals in London and Florence not covered
by the program fee, local transportation not covered by the program
fee, books, meals, lodging and travel during the week between the
two cities, and incidental personal expenses.
A
typical student might expect to spend approximately $2,800-$3,300
(exclusive of airfare). These costs will vary significantly depending
on the amount spent on gifts and entertainment, as well as on changes
in the currency exchange rate.
