You are getting a liberal arts education because you want to do independent study, to work closely with professors, and to have experiences that make you stand out from the crowd.

Our program at the Newberry Library is a tremendous opportunity to do all those things, in one of the world's great cities. It's designed for mature and motivated students who want to do independent research in the humanities.
