How to apply
Most ACM off-campus study programs are available to students from any college or university. While ACM is a consortium of Midwest liberal arts colleges, students from colleges and universities across the United States and around the world are welcome to apply to any of our programs (with the exception of the Brazil Exchange program).
Please contact your college’s Off-Campus Study/Study Abroad office immediately to discuss your off-campus study plans and to receive information regarding the specific application procedures and deadlines for your campus. Your college’s application process may involve additional application materials, and campus deadlines may be considerably earlier than the ACM deadlines. This process should be completed as early as possible, so that your application will meet any campus deadlines, as well as the ACM deadline. If your campus does not have an Off-Campus Studies Office, speak with the appropriate faculty advisor for the program on your campus.
Once you have consulted with your campus, download the ACM application. Please make sure to read the application in its entirety and submit all required documents. Students will typically be notified about their acceptance within 2-4 weeks after the application deadline.

Note: The ACM application deadline for most Fall 2009 programs has been EXTENDED
past March 15. If you are still interested in applying, please contact
the ACM office and submit your application ASAP!
Oak Ridge Science Semester applicants: Apply using this application form.
Japan Study program applicants: Apply at this site.
Newberry short-term spring seminar applicants: Get application information on this page.
While preference will be given to students who have met the application deadline, late applications may be accepted on a space-available basis. If the application deadline has passed and you are still interested in applying for a program, please submit your application immediately and contact the ACM Office.
If you have questions about the application process, please contact your Off-Campus Studies Office, the faculty program advisor on your campus, or a representative at the ACM Office in Chicago.
Also, please work with your campus Financial Aid Office to find out about your eligibility, with regard to financial aid. Your campus advisors are also an important resource, to determine the amount and distribution of credit for the program.
