Apply now

ACM has extended the application deadline for the following Fall 2013 programs:

Chicago Program: Arts, Entrepreneurship, & Urban Studies

Costa Rica: Language, Society, & the Environment

For more information, contact the ACM office immediately or apply online using this link.

Students currently enrolled in any U.S. college or university are welcome to apply to all ACM off-campus study programs (with the exception of the Brazil Exchange programs and the Jordan program, which are only open to students from the fourteen ACM colleges).

Please contact your college’s Off-Campus Study/Study Abroad office immediately to discuss your off-campus study plans and to receive information regarding the specific application procedures and deadlines for your campus.  Your college’s application process may involve additional application materials, and campus deadlines may be considerably earlier than the ACM deadlines.  This process should be completed as early as possible, so that your application will meet any campus deadlines, as well as the ACM deadline.  If your campus does not have an Off-Campus Studies office, speak with the appropriate faculty advisor for the program on your campus.

How to apply

If you'd like to receive more information about ACM off-campus programs, simply fill out the information request form.  If you're ready to start an application, there are two ways to apply for most ACM off-campus study programs:

Special instructions for some programs

Please make sure to read the application in its entirety and submit all required documents.  Students will typically be notified about their acceptance within 2-3 weeks after the ACM application deadline.  While students are welcome to submit an application at any time prior to an upcoming deadline, decisions are not made on a “rolling” basis, and applications will be reviewed after the deadline indicated.

While preference will be given to students who have met the application deadline, late applications may be accepted on a space-available basis.  If the application deadline has passed and you are still interested in applying for a program, please submit your application immediately and contact the ACM Office.

If you have questions about the application process, please contact your Off-Campus Studies Office, the faculty program advisor on your campus, or a representative at the ACM Office in Chicago.

Also, please work with your campus Financial Aid Office to find out about your eligibility, with regard to financial aid.  Your campus faculty advisors are also an important resource, to determine the amount and distribution of credit for the program.
