Campus activities, involvement, or other interests: On campus, I am a Training Assistant and tutor at the Lake Forest College Writing Center, and I am also the Program Director of our radio station, 88.9 FM, WMXM. I sing at the First Presbyterian Church of Lake Forest, and I love cooking and playing my ukulele.  This summer has been busy for me – I interned in the District Attourney's office at home, went on a ten-day choir tour to Ireland, and am now working on a farm in Wisconsin as part of the WWOOF (Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms) program.

Why I chose to do this program: I've chosen this program because I love great art and great food – where else can I get that but in Italy?  I'm very much looking forward to getting to know a new city as well as getting to know new people from the United States and from Italy.

What I'm most excited about: I'm most excited about taking a figure drawing and portraiture class.  I've been drawing all my life, but never have I taken an intensive course in drawing people.  I can't wait!
