Hometown: Fort Collins, CO
Majors: International Political Economy/Pre-Med
Campus activities, involvement, or other interests: On the Colorado College campus, I am involved in: Club Hockey, AMA school tutoring, Active Philosophers Club, Outdoor Recreation Committee, and Global Health Club. Interests outside of school life include: skiing/snowboarding, backpacking, trip leading/outdoor education, rock climbing, longboarding, and jamming on the guitar.
Why I chose this program: I chose the ACM Costa Rica program to have a unique cultural and academic experience. I wanted a setting where I could live in a rural community and improve my Spanish. I was drawn by the freedom of the program to research a topic that interests me.
What I'm most excited about: I am most excited to be a part of a rural household and community. I cannot wait to be immersed in the Costa Rican culture and live the Pura Vida lifestyle.
