  • Brazil, Spring 2012

Hometown: Lexington, VA

Major/minor: Mathematical Economics major, Classics minor

Campus activities, involvement, or other interests: Intramural soccer, skiing, traveling, food

Why I chose this program: I chose to do the ACM Brazil program because it's an opportunity for me to immerse myself into the Brazilian lifestyle and improve my Portuguese.  I've always been interested in Brazil from the food, to soccer and culture and I believe this program will give me a chance to experience it all.

What I'm most excited about: First, I'm very excited about improving my Portuguese. Second, I'm excited about living in a foreign country with a vibrant culture.  I look forward to playing pick up soccer, going to the beach with friends, and exploring the country.
