Nicole Fazio
- Colorado College
- Costa Rica, Spring 2012

Hometown: Littleton, CO
Major/minor: Biochemistry major, Spanish minor
Campus activities, involvement, or other interests: Diver on the Swimming and Diving Team, part of the BioSciences club through which we volunteer with elementary school students, doing science experiments. I also lead backpacking trips for the Outdoor Recreation Club.
Why I chose this program: This program fits my goals perfectly. As a biochemistry major I plan to make a career in research, which this program provides an opportunity for, and it has always been a life goal of mine to be able to speak Spanish. Plus, I've heard only amazing things about this program and the beautiful country of Costa Rica.
What I'm most excited about: I am excited about the whole experience. I think living in a different country will be incredibly eye-opening. I am very much looking forward to becoming fluent in Spanish after many years of academics in Spanish.
Anything else? I can hardly wait to arrive in Costa Rica!
