Activities & interests: I'm very active in the theater department, as an actress and a backstage crew member. I also mentor for junior high students in the twin cities.
Why I chose this program: I chose this program to learn more about my heritage, and to delve deeper into the study of art history. I wanted to learn about an entirely new culture, and I am confident that living with a host family will provide me with a unique opportunity to learn about Florence from the inside.
What I'm most excited about: I'm most excited to be immersed in a new culture, and learning through my host family what it's like to live in Florence. I hope to make life-long connections, not only with the family but with the other students in the program as well.
