Hometown: I've moved around a lot, but my family currently lives in St. Paul, MN.
Majors: Sociology/Anthropology and Spanish majors, Linguistics concentration
Activities & interests: Choir, international dance ensemble, newspaper, volunteer network
Why I chose to do this program: I've always been fascinated by India but never thought I'd be fortunate enough to see it for myself. So when the opportunity presented itself I jumped at the chance.
What I'm most excited about: Being totally out of my element. I've never been to a country where I don't know anyone, don't speak the language, and am not completely familiar with the cultural customs. That all makes me incredibly nervous, but also unbelievably excited!
