- Tanzania, Fall 2010

Hometown: Denver, CO
Major & minor: Sociology major, Film minor
Activities & interests: Ultimate Frisbee, a cappella music, intramural sports, any and all outdoor activities, leading outdoor trips
Why I chose to do this program: Researching at the cradle of life sounded unimaginably awesome! Also the program's unique living structure (staying at the university dorms, in tent camps in the field, AND with a homestay all at different times throughout the trip) seemed ideal for absorbing as much of the culture as possible.
What I'm most excited about: Experiencing such vastly different culture, language, landscape and wildlife. I am also very much looking forward to exploring the music culture while abroad both of the indigenous cultures and of the cities.
