Why I chose to do this program: I chose this program because it would not only open my eyes to a whole new culture, but I would be surrounded by the very fabric of time. I would be in the very streets that the world's most renowned artists walked centuries ago. Florence is the art capital of the world, so what better place to help better my major?
What I'm most excited about: I am most excited about becoming established with a family during the homestay. I feel that is going to be the most important part of the entire journey. They are going to be the ones to teach me the most about Italian culture. But of course, I am also excited to see all of my favorite works of art in person including the David, the Sistine Chapel, the Vatican museum and more!
