Senani Mamba

  • Colorado College
  • Botswana, Spring 2011

Hometown: Simunye, Swaziland (I only came to the U.S. to attend Colorado College. I lived in Singapore for 2 years before I came to Colorado.)

Majors: Biology

Campus activities, involvement, or other interests:  Soccer Intramurals, BSU, The MILL(a Friday night church for 20-somethings), UBUNTU (an African student group at Colorado College that a friend and I co-founded).

Why I chose to do this program: HIV/AIDS is my ultimate academic interest. I want to know more about it and this program will be teaching about it, Malaria and TB. Also because it will enable me to attend an African school and I have not been in an African school in years.

What I'm most excited about: Everything! The program itself, the people I am going with, the Batswana people.
