Campus activities, involvement, or other interests: Wellness Committee, GLOW (Gay, Lesbian or Whatever), College Democrats, Girl Scouting, and Camping
Why I chose to do this program: Botswana offers an amazing view into life in Southern Africa without facing the prevalence of war. Further, Botswana's success and natural beauty if one that is hard to deny.
What I'm most excited about: Getting to know the students at the University. I believe these will be the people who I will learn the most from.
Anything else? I am beyond excited! While I will have to miss the Super Bowl (sad for a Patriots fan), I will be able to spend more time with true football (i.e. soccer) fans!
