Major: Psychology (I also intend to get a language certificate in French)
Campus activities, involvement, or other interests: I play for the Carleton women's soccer team, which was ranked 15th in the nation and made it to the second round of the NCAA tournament this year. I'm also an avid fan of intramural sports, a volunteer with TOPsoccer and Special Olympics, and I work at the library – the best place on campus.
Why I chose to do this program: Aside from everything that Italy itself has to offer, I was struck by the how interesting the classes I would be taking sounded. The fact that it fit Carleton's trimesters didn't hurt, either!
What I'm most excited about: Getting lost (figuratively and literally?) in a country whose wonders never cease.
