Faculty & Staff

Learn from and be mentored by faculty who have strong academic backgrounds and are active practitioners in their fields.

The Chicago Program faculty includes working artists who know what it takes to create a career in the arts, entrepreneurs who have built businesses from the ground up, and community leaders and activists who have been at the forefront of social change in the city.

Through their daily involvement with Chicago’s arts, business, and social justice communities, your instructors enrich your studies by using their connections to people and institutions throughout the city. Your internship supervisor, an experienced staff member at the non-profit organization, business, government agency, or community-based organization where you intern, will also help you develop your skills and explore your interests in a workplace setting.

Throughout your time in Chicago, you will have opportunities to develop your own network of contacts — Chicago Program faculty, co-workers at your internship, people you meet during site visits and other program activities, and your peers — to support you in your future career.
