Mexico Summer Program: Service Learning & Language Immersion

Summer 2010 dates:

Six-week program: June 1 - July 14, 2010
Eight-week program: June 1 - July 28, 2010

Tuesday, June 1, 2010: Students arrive in Mexico City
Wednesday, June 2, 2010: First day of program
Tuesday, July 13, 2010: Last day of program (6-week program)
Wednesday, July 14, 2010: Students depart from Mexico City (6-week program)
Tuesday, July 27, 2010 Last day of program (8-week program)
Wednesday, July 28, 2010 Students depart from Mexico City (8-week program)

Students will be responsible for their own travel to and from Mexico City.  Assistance with booking flights and potential group flight options may be available through an ACM travel agent.

The ACM Mexico Summer Program is a six-week long program (with an option to extend to eight weeks).  Here is a sample weekly schedule:

For students who are interested in extending the program to include an additional two weeks of service learning work in their non-governmental organization (NGO), the additional two weeks would be added at the end of the program.  If you are interested in extending your experience to eight weeks, at pro-rated costs, make sure to indicate this on your application.
