Field trips
The program includes field trips to nearby cultural sites, such as:
- Ajanta and Ellora rock-cut caves in Aurangabad
- Karla
- Mahableshwar, a hill station near Pune
- Sihagad Fort
- Sanskriti
- Students also observe and participate in religious festivals, such as the pilgrimage in Prandharpur and festivals at a Hindu temple in Jejuri.
Travel throughout India
Students travel to other parts of India during holidays and the two-week program break. Favorite destinations include:
- New Delhi, the capital of India, and Utter Pradesh
- Agra, known for the Taj Mahal
- Goa, a former Portuguese colony on the Arabian Sea
- Rajasthan
- Kerala
