The Associated Colleges of the Midwest enriches residential liberal arts education and strengthens members through collaboration.
ACM connects fourteen colleges across five midwestern states to serve over 23,000 students, 1,700 faculty, and 4,500 staff in pursuit of a shared mission.
We work to encourage excellence in teaching and learning; promote equity and inclusion and celebrate individual and collective diversity; strengthen the connection between inquiry and practice; amplify the expertise of faculty, students, and staff; and cultivate an open environment for innovation and exchange.

Academic Leadership Fellows from three liberal arts consortia gathered in Washington, D.C., to learn from experienced leaders, engage with timely issues, and consider their own leadership journeys.
Collaborative sessions helped participants identify possible sources of external funding and craft proposals aimed at unlocking transformational grant support.
ACM facilitated the distribution of nearly 200 works by Indigenous artists, which will be used in the study and research of Inuit culture at Macalester and St. Olaf Colleges in memory of donor Robert C. Leestma.
