New ACM off-campus program in Rio de Janeiro
Students visit the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro.
Amidst the excitement of the Olympics next August, the first group of students will begin the Brazil: Culture, Community, & Language at PUC-Rio program.
During the fall semester in Rio, students will be immersed in Brazilian culture as they study Portuguese language, live with host families, and choose among a variety of elective courses taught in English at one of the country's top private universities. Read about it

With funding from a FaCE grant, the Student Film Conference & Festival at Lawrence University on April 1-3 will provide a venue for students to show their work and connect with media and industry professionals. Read about it

Off-Campus Study Program Updates
Shanghai Program students visited the historic Summer Palace during a weekend trip to Beijing.
120 Hours in Shanghai and a Weekend in Beijing — It was a busy week for the new Shanghai: Perspectives on Contemporary China program, as six ACM college faculty visited the program and students took in sights and culinary delights on a trip to Beijing.
Sustainability in the cultural context of East Africa will be a main focus for Luther professor Jon Jensen as Visiting Faculty Director of the Tanzania Program in fall 2016. Read about it
