Opportunities for Faculty

  • Call for Pre-Proposals – Funding is available for faculty-designed projects in digital humanities or language sharing. Deadline to apply: June 30.
  • SAIL logo
    1) Imagine a study-away experience for faculty in summer 2016. 2) Propose a theme and location. 3) Get funding for it from the ACM! Deadline (extended) for SAIL seminar pre-proposals: May 30.
  • Apply for a visiting faculty position on ACM off-campus programs: Jordan Program (fall 2016), Tanzania Program (fall 2016), and Newberry Seminar in Chicago (fall 2017). Deadline: May 1.
  • Need a hotel room in Chicago? ACM has negotiated rates at the Best Western River North Hotel. 2015 rates vary seasonally from $100-$150 per night, including breakfast and parking. Contact the hotel (312-467-0800 or and request the ACM rate. Questions? Contact Betsy Hutula at ACM.
