All together now – ACM has moved!
For the first time, the ACM Consortial Office, the Chicago Program, and the Urban Education Program are all together in one space, after moving into the eighth floor at 11 E. Adams in downtown Chicago. Read about it
Post-doctoral Fellowships at Monmouth, Lawrence, and Luther extended a year
Overall, ACM-Mellon program will support seven Fellows at five colleges during its final year in 2013-14. Read about it

Opportunities for Faculty
- Call for Applications – A faculty site visit to India will introduce the ACM off-campus study program in Pune to a group of faculty on October 21-24. Deadline to apply: August 5. Read about it

On the Off-Campus Study Programs

Living and working in rural Costa Rica challenged students to take their own initiative and to rely on their Spanish-speaking abilities. Read about it
- During internships in Florence, students on the Arts in Context program prepared translations for a major exhibit on Pope Leo X at the Medici Chapels museum. Read about it
- Lawrence, Luther, and Macalester professors were named to visiting positions on off-campus programs in India, Italy, and Jordan. Read about it
- For three alumni of the Chicago Program, a semester in the city raised their awareness and sparked their activism. Read about it
