Opportunities for Faculty

  • Amman, Jordan

    Teach off-campus for a semester! Visiting faculty positions are available on ACM off-campus study programs in Botswana, Jordan, and Tanzania during the 2015-16 and 2016-17 academic years.
  • Lead a faculty seminar in Jordan on a topic you choose. See the Call for Pre-Proposals for the fourth SAIL seminar, with ten days onsite in Jordan in summer 2015.
  • Need a hotel room in Chicago? ACM has negotiated rates at the Best Western River North Hotel. Rates in 2014 vary seasonally from $99-$135 per night, plus tax, and are subject to availability. The rate includes breakfast for two, internet access, and free parking for one car. On the Off-Campus Study Programs

  • Studying food will be the students' entrée to cultural immersion when Lawrence University anthropologist Carla Daughtry directs the Jordan Program. Read about it
