Hometown: Chattanooga, Tennessee

Major/Minor: Anthropology and sociology/international development

Campus activities, involvement, or other interests: UNICEF Club, Peace Corps Preparatory Program, ΑΓΑ: Gentlemen of Quality, Marketing and Digital Photography.

Why I chose to do this program: I chose this program because it allows me to experience a big university for a semester while also furthering my knowledge in development. Taking classes on another campus also provides different opportunities and activities that may not available at my home institution. The Botswana program allows me to get a bit involved in the city and local people which is supplemented by a Setswana course.

What I’m most excited about: I am hoping to get involved with some of the sports at the University of Botswana; if possible I am looking forward to wrestling or boxing! If I am unable to participate, I’d look forward to being able to explore the campus to find more things to get involved in.
