Why I chose to do this program: I chose to do this program because I am very interested in Japanese culture and society. I am interested in learning more about the history and the different cultural art forms of Japan (both traditional and modern). This program will provide a great opportunity to improve my Japanese and experience living in exciting Tokyo! Studying at a great school like Waseda University will also be a great experience. I also like the Cultural Practicum aspect of the program. I think it will be one of the highlights to my study abroad!

What I'm most excited about: Arriving in Tokyo, meeting new people, meeting my host family, conversing in Japanese, eating the food, sightseeing, being a part of the culture!
