ACM
conferences and workshops
|
|
ACM
conferences bring together faculty and administrators from the 14
campuses to focus on significant issues in the liberal arts. Recent
topics have included environmental studies, learning inside and
outside the classroom, and curricular responses to the sweeping
changes in Europe. The colleges have carried out special projects
in connection with some of these conferences.
Workshops
cover more specialized disciplinary and interdisciplinary topics,
such as the anthropology curriculum, classics, Jewish studies, institutional
economics, U.S. history, and teaching writing in multicultural classrooms.
