I don't know why I happened to be standing in Notre Dame Cathedral by this precise window at this moment. Perhaps it was because I've wanted to go to Paris since I was a little girl. Perhaps it was from stories of my parents visiting Europe. Or a love of art and architecture. Or random chance. Or an act of God. I don't know. But somehow I was given this beautiful opportunity. And whatever caused it, I am glad.
