Though many tourists (Kiwis and foreigner alike) pass through caving companies like Waitomo Adventures, few take time to consider the larger implications of their activity. Tourism contributes billions of dollars to New Zealand annually, as well as providing jobs to tens of thousands of citizens. These boots are waiting to make caving a more convenient and comfortable (and, therefore, enjoyable!) experience for the next group of tourists, aiding in the perpetuation of this important industry.
