2011-12 Photo Contest

A friend's smiling face, an artisan at work, a town's residents awaiting an event – those are just three of the memorable moments captured in prize-winning pictures in the fourth annual ACM Off-Campus Study Photo Contest.
Jake Reznick from Carleton College was awarded the 2011-12 Grand Prize for "Day's End," his graceful image of a fan maker at work in China. Nine other photos were awarded 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place in each of three categories – People, Stories, and Artistry – and 14 photos received Honorable Mention recognition.
For the first time, this year's Photo Contest included a Fans' Choice Award, based on votes cast at the ACM Facebook page.
All of the prize-winning, Honorable Mention, and Fans' Choice photos will be displayed at ACM campuses in a traveling exhibit during winter and spring 2012.
The winning photos were selected from among 131 photos entered in the contest through the ACM colleges' off-campus study offices.
