While much of the China that we saw was an incredible mixture of ancient and run-down and shiny and modern, visiting the most prosperous communist village still left in China gave us the other side of the ideological story still prevalent in today's society. We learned all of the self-labeled "farmers" of this city are making upwards of $250,000 annually and "buy" these homes by trading in shares in the collective's stock, but in this mesmerizing landscape, where do the migrant workers live?
