2009-10 Photo Contest

Encounters with people, cultures, history, and the physical environment are among the experiences chronicled in the prize-winning photos from the 2009-10 ACM Off-Campus Study Photo Contest. The photos were taken by students at ACM colleges who have participated in off-campus study programs, either in the U.S. or other countries. These photos were in a traveling exhibit hosted by 11 ACM colleges in early 2010.
The Grand Prize was awarded to Anais Gude, a student at Colorado College, for "Working on Manhood." Photos were also awarded First, Second, and Third Place in each of three categories – People, Stories, and Artistry. Ten photos received Honorable Mention recognition. In all, 95 photos were submitted for the contest through the ACM colleges’ off-campus study offices.
